Getting started
Activate your licence
Enter your key, and what happens with the free trial, renewals and moving to a new address.
A new install runs as a 14-day free trial. Enter your licence key any time to switch it to your plan.
Enter your key
- Sign in as an admin and open Settings, then the Licence tab.
- Paste the key from your licence email into Licence key (it looks like
WF-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). - Click Activate. You'll see Licence activated with your plan and business name.
The Your licence panel then shows your plan, when it's paid until, and how many users, billing companies and email senders it includes. What your plan includes lists the features that depend on your plan.
Trial, renewals and read-only

Card payments renew automatically. Once a renewal is paid, WireFlow picks it up within the hour, or straight away if you click Check in now.
Moving to a new web address or server
Your key is tied to the web address WireFlow runs at. To move:
- Take a backup on the old install and download it (see Backups, restoring and updates).
- Install WireFlow at the new address and restore the backup, or start fresh.
- Open Settings, Licence at the new address and activate the same key. If the old install is still checking in, email us and we'll release it.
Updates
On the Licence tab, Let WireFlow install updates we push to this install lets us install important updates for you at the next hourly check-in. Leave it on unless you'd rather update by hand from System.
